Horizon is a website for booking gaming rooms for special events. All you have to do is book the room that suits you best and we'll take care of the rest. On the big day, all you have to do is sit back and play! A late-night catering service is also available.

The website and its concept were created as part of a school project and are therefore totally fictitious.

The most difficult part of the realisation process was to put in place the technical solutions that could respond in the right way to the ideas we came up with. However, this project was very rewarding and enabled me to learn more about web development.

Colors

For the colors, I chose a rather dark palette with a touch of green, which is very popular with gamers and can be found on famous brands such as Razer. This green was used for the different elements of the website.

Typography

Eveleth font is an advanced display typeface that keeps very high-resolution features for any graphic design. It was designed in 2014 by Ryan Martinson and published through Yellow Design Studios. It provides the greatest texture ligatures, stylistic alternates, high-quality glims, perfect for book covers, logotypes, posters, website templates, and so on.

Satoshi is a modernist sans serif typeface. Its design combines typically grotesk-style letterforms, with some characters that are quite geometrically-designed. The family has tem weights on offer, ranging from Light to Black with complimentary italics, so it is perfectly suited to text

Iconography

Finally, for the icons, we've chosen two different styles, the first fairly simple with a filled-in interior. This style is particularly effective for conveying information quickly, and we used it as a graphic aid to illustrate our texts. The second, more original style, with an empty interior and contours, remains fairly simplistic but is more elaborate. It allows us to represent the components of a computer more graphically.
